I am not sure how much effort it is to add electric shifting to an AWD vehicle. You would need the shift motor and the button and harness.
I don't have the 4482, I have the 4481 in my denali

Yes i am still running the 4L80e with the mod' d BW4481 and i probably shouldn't say this because it will probably break the next time i drive it but the drive train has not have any issues once i got the tranny built correct and I'm putting close to 700 to the wheels.

As for the launch, its pretty cool...

I lost the motor due to a failed lifter and the shop that was doing the tuning at the time suggested that while i have it apart i might want to consider switching to a 58X reluctor and 4x cam sensor and running a LS3 ECM. That the newer ECM would allow for better tuning capabilities. I really think he just liked working with LS3's more but mostly he saw $$$$, I took the bait.

I have to say it is definitely running smoother and stronger than it ever did with the stock computer but that could just be that i am spending 100's of hours tuning it myself as i learn more.

The factory 6.0 was lost to a spun bearing in 2010, when i bought the truck new i had the dealership put a centrifugal supercharger kit on it. I ran it hard for 10 years.

The lifter was lost on a Texas Speed 408, they mismatched a melling high volume oil pump and double roller timing chain. The chain was cutting into the oil pump from day one and took two years to fail.

Texas Speed was awesome and refreshed the motor for me at no charge.

Hey 03 Superslade do you know if you could of used a Bw4485 instead of modding your bw4481 ??? I have a Turboed 04 Gmc Yukon Denali that I'm tired of putting built 4l65e in that don't last a month . I was estatic when I seen this thread but then priced out everything and realized I can buy a refurbished Bw4485 for less than a few of its parts ...Just don't know whats different about it ?

wondering this as well. Its a lot cheaper to get just the input shaft, vs all the parts or even a junkyard 4485.

It was so long ago but from what i recall you should be able to just change the shaft. Sorry i cant say with 100% certainty.
