8.6 1350 Yoke
#1
Anyone ever used this yoke before? GM 8.6 inch 10 bolt 1350 series pinion yoke for 2001 and newer GM Corporate 8.625 inch 10 bolt truck rear ends
Says for 2001 and newer, but I was not aware of any differences in the 8.6's. Just looking to upgrade my 2000 RCSB to a 1350 yoke. If there is a difference then I do I need to look at yokes for an 8.5? Any help appreciated. Thanks-Sam

That's the correct 1350 yoke for your 8.6 rearend.
Now if you want a billet yoke with u bolts you have to get the 8.5" version. The only mod required for that is to use the old 8.5 style pinion seal.

Ok awesome, Thanks! Thats what I thought. At what point do you need billet? 370ci, Plan on being around 500rwhp with up-to a 200 shot on top of that, through a T-56. I thought about getting u-straps with the base yoke anyway.

Also suggestions on shortening my stock driveshaft? I was thinking about just having my local shop make one, but if they can hold up to ~700rwhp then I will just have mine shortened and high-speed balanced
