Every time a shift happens the TCM looks at it and determines if that was a good shift? Was it completed in an adequate time? Does it need to make fluid pressure adjustments to improve that shift? And so on.
I can notice changes every time I have driven it since doing the work. I supposed I put close to 100 miles after today.

No problem. I hope I can help any and everyone with trans concerns or just general questions. Especially with concerning these newer 6 speeds.

Also just a side note. GM is finally stopping production on the 4L60. So it will not longer be offered in new trucks. And the 2014 CTS is coming with an Aisin 8 speed trans. I know it's a car but I have a feeling that will trickle down to more vehicles and soon trucks with everything so conscious about fuel mileage and emissions

Is this not the same manufacter of the Dodge 6 speed in their HD trucks IIRC ? Not a very good trans I've heard . ? ?

It's already sad the Chevy makes the aveo with a daewoo drivetrain , WTF ?

I would like to learn more about putting in an aftermarket clutch kit with more disks. Something like PATC offers... Are there mods required? And is there a lot of programming necessary? If it's not a big deal, I'm wondering if I would be better off to spend the money and put them in.

Chevy seems to have always had the drivetrain market, but may be slipping a little on the transmission these days. Dodge is ahead in this arena. I hear those 8 speeds are nice. Never drove one.

No need for aftermarket clutch kit IMO. More clutches don't add extra holding pressure. Higher line pressures do. That's it. Don't waste your money on those aftermarket clutch kits on these 6 speeds. Not needed.
