So right now i am considering the a good built 60E and the T-56. But my question is has anyone blown a built 60E from FLP. I think the only other reason that I am considering this is that fact that you guys mentioned that I can still use the old TC. Just get someone good to flush it out.

I think Parish blew up 1 or 2 FLP 60's, but was probably in the 600hp range (if I remember right) - and I'm sure chuck has examined parish's transmissions and fixed whatever needed fixing. If it were me I'd get a built up 65.

If you could find a pull out motor and trans out of a VHO,install a cam and your done. Then sell your current engine. You maybe able to do this for the price of a FLP or the price of a T56 or 4l80 conversion.Do you do your own transmission R&R?
