Good question. My guess would be about 1 1/2" based upon where mine was before the drop. I'm basing this on where the seal has shined up about another 1/4 ' of the barrel.



Do you know if your wheel base is 143.5"?

Ok I have about 1.25" or maybe a hair more sticking out of the seal.

Overall length looks to be almost right on 66" from center to center of the u-joints.

I have about the same amount sticking out of the seal as Thunder550. I had to remove42mm from my shaft.

About 42mm is exactly what I've come up with to shorten mine. Problem is that would make it shorter than Dewey's shaft and longer than Sir Thunders

I didn't have to change out the receiving end on my diff, so I think I'm still using original style u-joints. Not sure if that helps or not.
