6 lug rears

what is the diff in these rears ? how many diff rears are there ?
12 bolts ? 14 bolts ? late model silverado rears. I am looking to swap to
a stronger rear that will hold up to 500hp.

usually people will go from the 10 bolt (stock 1/2 ton rearend) to a 14 bolt. Tho there are many people making 500 rwhp with a 10 bolt as well.
