Default 6.0/4l80e owners, please step in

I did an LQ4/4l80e swap back in October, and the one thing that seems to bug me is. Is it normal for the truck to bounce in and out of 3rd and 4th when not under load/throttle?

If I keep light throttle the truck will stay in OD, but if I let off it comes out. Then I apply throttle again it goes back in and so forth. It sucks because everytime I hit a bump and my foot slightly raises off throttle it shifts in and out.

it may be, but I'm not sure. I swapped all the 80e tune segments from a stock 04 2500 and never changed anything. Is there something I should look at there or could it be the TC itself? It bugs the hell outta me

I was having an issue with this awhile back

P2761 = Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit/Open

supposedly changing the ignition switch would fix it but its still there

I get a weird lockup as soon as I shift to 4th and it unlocks again right away, but I'm sure its a setting in the tune. What you're explaining sounds very similar.

its the tc locking and unlocking. It unlocks in decceleration and lock in acceleration im not sure if it can be changed with the tune. I need to look at the tables. in the 60e it unlocks when u step on the brakes

it can't be tuned out. Only way to prevent it from unlocking at 0% is to use the 60e tune and make wiring mods to the trans.
