Default 5-speed questions

Well went to go pick my truck up again today after i collapsed the slave cylinder after about a mile of driving. Get in it, goes through all the gears good with the engine off, turn the engine on and it won't come out of or go in gears for ****, anybody know what's up????

Yeah, for whatever reason your clutch isn't releasing. Either you need to bleed the system after replacing the slave, you're low on fluid, or something along those lines not making the clutch fully release.

do not drive it . do not take anyones word that it will fix itself !!!!!!! i learned this after my clutch got put in my old truck . it owuld barely come out of gear and in it . they said it will fix itself . well that night i blew the tranny . went to jam second gear not hard just speeding up u kno and it went . i had to fix it myself since it was my fault and i had no prove they didnt fill the hydro fluid up !!!!! so 800 bucks later the thing whined loud in gears and fourth gear was always a little bit more to the right which resulted in a mis shift once in awhile . and form what iveheard you have the same tranny my truck did

yeah, i didn't drive it, i left it there, told them to call me when it's fixed. The guy put the slave cylinder in for free, just charged for parts, but hopefully it'll get better, i miss it, it's day #8 without it. And it's even worse b/c i got the eaton in and i haven't really got to try it out, damn this sucks.

Well went and picked up my truck, they bled the system a little more and it's a good bit better, still have to pump it a few times when at a stop to get it back in gear, but he told me to drive if a few days, come back and if it hasn't gotten better he'll bleed it again til it's right. But it's killing me not to just nail the **** out of it and grab 2nd, i did pull out of my driveway and nail it when turning and it finally kicked sideways, couldn't ever do it with the peg leg, so i'm pretty excited about getting it broke in and getting everything fixed

yeah, i've actually noticed that the more you get in it in the gears, the easier it goes into the next gear, but like i said, i'm taking it back today to let him bleed it some more.
