I'm with you. Here is a F body tail shaft that's been modified. Not sure how I feel about it. Maybe some stiffening ribs and / or T case brace(s).

Ok so Im actually going to try something different. If it holds awesome and if it doesnt then ohwell Im making 2 adapters and using the stock 27 spline c5 output shaft. The order is : ls1 bell, ls1 mid, c5 zo6 trans and output, adapter, stock 4l60 4x4 adapter, another adapter then t case. Im setting the stock adapter in the factory distance for the crossmember. Only major mod is shorting rear ds, and lengthing front. Reason being? I dont want a one off hybrid trans. I can always swap in a 9310 stock main if it fails. Custom driveshafts are easier for me.

Also, this is a dd. Not a 1000hp 4 wheel slick drag truck. I also dont tow or haul and its a single cab. I will start machining everything in about a month and will promise pics soon! I talked to nicD he says he will have no prob getting everything to play nice together.

Sounds like a good plan. Can't wait to see this.
