Default 4wd t-case vs awd t-case

can anyone verify is the dimensions are the same on the two? the 4wd case is from an 00 and the awd is from an 04.

trying to see if the drive shafts from an 80e swap on an 00 4wd drivetrain will work on an 04 truck with an awd case.

Ive always been curious about it too but never looked into it. My thoughts were that they should be the same if not extremely close.

in zeake's awd swap thread on ls1truck, he took off the 4x4 t-case and put on an nv-149, he said that when he put on the awd t-case he tried to use the front driveshaft for the 4x4 but it was too long, he had to pick up an awd front d-shaft. so going from awd to 4x4 you would have to pick up the longer 4x4 front drive shaft.
