If your going to update your forth servo use sonnax one. For those interested in doing the 2nd I would recommend using the corvette servo or the sonnax super hold 2nd servo. The nice thing about it is it still uses all the factory 3rd accumulater and cushion springs. Unlike other billet servo's it maintains smoother coasting downshifts and less harsh upshifts. End result... less broken bands. Here is a link with a couple pictures http://www.finishlinetrans.com/parts/GM4L60Servo.htm

The 2nd gear servo is what applies the 2-4 band. The vette sevro has a greater apply area than what is found in most trucks. The sonnax super hold 2nd servo has an even larger apply area with even more holding power. Nice part about the sonnax piece over other billet servos is that it still uses the factory components with added holding power.

ok i have a silly question....
What exactly does a Servo do?
Is that what applies the clamping power for that gear? So compared to a factory truck servo, the Vette and billet servos give it more power holding capacity??
