Would the 85E be found in a 1-ton dually? How much power is a stock 4L80 capable of handling?

85es are found in motor homes and other such vehicles. They are also referred to as strait cut gears. Try digging for turbo 400 or 4l80e planetary failures, doesn't happen too often. You can up grade a 80 to an 85. The cost would be in the 6 to 1000 dollar range for the hard parts.
