I finally bought a 4L80, with a yank 3600 and trans brake. Tired of rebuilding the 4L60. Does anyone have an idea of how much power the 4L80 will rob vs the 4L60? Haven't dynoed my truck yet but here's some times with the 4L60. Running a cam only 04 LS6 out of a ZO6. Truck weighs 4860 with me in it. Once the 4L80 is in adding spray, 150 shot. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I have the 4l80e the only thing i did notice was the sluggish 1st gear, but at the track with the 4l60 the best time was 11.56@117.? in cool weather, after adding the 4l80e with hotter weather best time has been 11.63@117.9. Maybe my yank converter is more efficient than my previous converter with the 4l60, but my shift extensions never drop below 6000 on the cluster with both 4l60 and 4l80.

I dynoed my stock suburban with the 4L80E and a 14 bolt rear end if that matters.
GM rates it 320 hp and 455 lbtq. I put down 238whp and 311wlbtq. Everyone said the torque is low because of "torque management". it made those torque numbers from 1600 rpms to 4800 rpms.
