Ya exactly what mine does.

Sucks the harness won't fix it and I ordered it. So your truck is factory 2500 right?

Yep factory 2500hd. When I pull the pan, there was nothing in it. No black clutch material or anything. Magnetic had the normal stuff on it. Temp gauge shows 210 & trans cooler lines feel cold, like theirs nothing passing thru them..

Engine & trans harness go to PCM, then to gauges right?

Let me ask this question. How are you two controlling your 4l80e units? Is this being done with an 80e program or is this with the modified 60E tune and wiring? Not sure if the two use different resistance values for the temp senders but it might be something to look into. Maybe if I get some time I will look in my books to see what they give me for values. This would be new news to me if this is your guys issue. I would however make sure that the resistance for the wiring from the trans plug to the computer is good and also that the terminals are not corroded in any way. Vince

My truck is factory 06 2500hd 6.0/4l80e, it has a Wheatley tune. It would seem like the values or off because it starts off reading 105 after being parked over night. 250-105=145degs, which is perfect operating temp.

Thanks for checking back Vince..
