4l80e swap supplier
I have been hearing that Speed Engineering is getting some bad reviews so i have been looking for a supplier for some parts. I came along a company called PATC transmission parts on ebay that has a conversion kit for just under 500 and wanted to see if anyone has used them. If anyone has some recomendations i'd love to hear them. thanx for any help. Forgive me if i didn't search well enough.

If you can get a deal on GM parts, most of the stuff can be purchased that way. I did that and saved a bunch of Money. Here's what I needed and their associated part numbers:
19156257 - 4L85e Transmission
15000206 - Converter dust cover
12551367 - 6.0 Flexplate
12563532 - Crank Spacer
12553332 - Flexplate bolts (6 required)
15198439 - 4L80/85E Dipstick tube
15183801 - 4L80/85E Dipstick
15013290 - 4L80/85E Shift cable bracket at transmission
11589040 - 4L60/65/70/80/85E Toque converter bolt (6 required)
The stock tranny mount can be re-used because they use the same part number (15767858), but I ended up using an aftermarket polyurethane one. The only things you can't get from GM is the harness, the driveshaft, and the modified crossmember. If you have anyquestions during the swap let me know.
