my truck is an 02 so I should not have to cut anything off just add to correct?

Look under your truck at the trans crossmember. If the trans mount is facing forward then you'll have to cut it off and flip it around.

Basicly you cut the center section out and move it and the transmission mount backwards about 6 1/2" you remove the section for pan clearance,the transmission is about the same overall length as a 4L60E but the pan is deeper and extends further back.

i think i'll just buy a x member......or make one.....is there not a x member that you can from another truck that will work....or are my only options are to either buy one or re-fab mine....

if you have a 4wd then you don't have to change the yoke right just shorten the shaft

You either need to buy one/make one/rework the stock one cause the 2500 series crossmember is different.
