Default 4l80e swap completed

Just finished my swap just a few issues to cover for the next guy, stock shaft will work 7in yoke 447 u joint for the 1350 to 3r and 534g for the rear, also had an issue where it was in limp mode and it ended up smoking the forward clutches and welding them together, I had the trans built and they didn't replace the VSS or OSS so when I reinstalled it would shift 1st 2nd and then do some weird things I measured resistance and found a bad OSS also the abs light was on indication of bad OSS or VSS swapped sensors it now works perfectly also recommend dirttrackracer's crossmember it works flawlessly if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me thanks to this informative site making it a smooth swap

That's one long a$$ sentence

Congrats on the swap
What was the reason it was in "limp mode" causing it to burn itself up basically?

Haha sorry I have terrible punctuation haha it was a bad output speed sensor speedo was working properly at first so I didn't know at the time what caused it but when I got it rebuilt the speedo went all over the place and my abs light was on so I ohm'd out both vss and OSS and the OSS was 8.7M ohms vs vss at 1517 ohms

I'm still new and learning.

I'm swapping a 4l80e into my 2002 Yukon. Is there a chance I don't need to mod my stock rear driveshaft?

It depends on what you have in my case I used a 1350 7" slip yoke with a moog 447 joint to my stock drive shafts and it was fine I upgraded to a pst drive shaft
