Default 4l80e swap ?

I have the wiring harness for the swap I bought from speartech. The speed sensor wires that go to the ecm are supposed to plug into pins 22 and 23. Pin 22 is empty. Pin 23 has a wire in it already. Has anyone else run into this? Should I just remove the wire and cap it off or what?

Parish in online right now... he'll chime in, in a sec i suppose.

Off topic but...
I was over at Ben's house (Lunxher sp?) the other nite helping him move out of his house. Sad to see him go... he was telling me about your truck, i cant wait to get my turbo set up. Have you ever talked to "Yellow Sierra", he has the 5.7 like your looking to do.. runs 12.4's n/a.

Yep, talk to Justin about once every couple of weeks. He went to Silver Dollar with cablebandit And I. He beat me something like 5 out of 7 times. By the way he is not n.a. he has a whipple on the 5.7.

One pair of VSS sensor wires is the same as a 4l60e,while the second pair to the front sensor is used only with the 4l80e and must have the pins added to the PCM.

Should the wire that goes to pin 23 on the new harness replace the old wire or should it be spliced in with the old wire?
