i just can't believe anything shifting the way my lvl 7 shifts. thanks for the answers that is actually what i wanted to know. its good to know the clutch packs are that much bigger. seems to be what you need to hold **** together. how high does the stock converter stall again? and how much power can it hold in lockup?
also can the 80e hold up to lock up shifts? i don't do it now myself i was just wondering if it could if a guy wanted to.

Wilde Racing could brake stall his to 3200 but hes 4wd so he can get a lot more brake stall having and extra set of brakes to hold the wheel spin. So for the OP thats good being that hes AWD but you, I doubt you could brake stall it too much before spinning. When I was running my 420 NA with a stock 80e, I could get about 2400 out of it in 2wd before it would spin.

Yes it will. I spoke with Dusty at length about how he liked his 80e and he said towing was just fine. I wasnt boosted but I was running a 420" motor and I towed my roomates avalanche on a trailer, with a four wheeler in the bed and didnt have any problems at all. I noticed the 80e doesnt seem to heat up as quick as the 60e so thats good as far as towing is concerned.
