i just cut my stock lines as needed and used rubber tranny lines with double hose clamps to make sure they didn't come off.

I have a 2002 silverado, and my crossmember is different. They must have changed them at some point.

Hey adam is that how you modified your crossmember? My truck is an 03...How much did you have into your conversion...

Does it matter if the trans is 2wd or 4wd?

I was reading some older post and they were saying that i needed a wiring harness? What harness is it that i need?

You need an adapter for the round green connector, and you need a harness for the second VSS.

I would imagine 99 or newer would be best. But i'm sure someone will chime in that knows an exact year or newer.

i have an older one in my truck, not sure of the year. The company didn't realize that I needed a newer case until it was already built and i was waiting on it. So I told them to just send it out. The only differences i found is that there is one less bolt hole on the bellhousing and i had to make brackets to mount my neutral safety switch.
