Default 4l80e question

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 4l80 they put in the military humvees and the ones they put in the civilian trucks?

I don't know a lot about them, but I do know that the older HMMWV's had all mechanical diesel engines (i know because my lil' 6.2's got a 6.5TD military pump in it). Which would use the standalone TCU to control the 4L80E.

Other than that, the only difference is the diesel stall converter and whether it's a 91-96 or 97+ for compatibility sake.
