4l80e pressure control circuit
#1
I have a 2000 Chevrolet K2500 with a 4l80e transmission. The truck ran fine earlier this year, but has been parked since April. I drove it for the first time the other day, and the transmission shifts hard. Scanner shows zero volts or current draw going to the pressure control solenoid while driving. I tested the C and D terminals on the external wiring harness going into the transmission. The meter shows no voltage between the terminals. Should voltage be present at the pressure control with the truck off and the ignition on? If so how do I trouble shoot the wiring starting at the transmission connector? Does the power come directly from the ECM / PCM? Can a continuity test be performed between the Transmission connector C terminal and the ecm? If so, what connector and pins on the ECM corresponds to the transmission connector pins for the purposes of checking continuity? The check engine light is not on while driving and no DTC's are present.
