Angry 4L80E oil pressure problem

Help, I just rebuilt in painstaking detail following a rebuild guide my 2002 2500hd 4x4 transmission. Got it installed in the truck and filled the trans with fluid-dexIII and started the engine. I moved the shifter down to 1st and paused and up to 2nd and so on back up to park and then checked the level. It was low so I did the same proccess again after topping the level off. After the 3rd time of this the level stays the same but I am not feeling any movement. I connected a pressure guage to the test port and there is not any while running in park. Idea's?

You obviously have a major leak in the system or you broke the pump when you installed the trans. Look to make sure that you did not have your boost valve pop out of the pump. Pretty common when the snap ring is not fully seated. I have also seen the end plug on the back side of the pressure regulator valve falls out during the rebuild of the pump. Hope this helps you some and welcome to the site. Vince
