When I removed the front pump, I saw some rust in the trans. So I'm thinking when it had some fluid run through rust got dislodged and screwed up some stuff.
Still waiting for Blake to let me know what actually was wrong with it...maybe he'll chime in.

Sorry guys! I got side tracked and never responded. Also forgot to take pics.. aj had this one for me to give you an idea, but i will give the scoop. There was a significant amount of water in the trans at some point resulting in rust and destroyed valve body gaskets. As the rust and gasket material broke down it was stuck all in the valve body, fluid channels, and the pressure regulator. It was obviouly drained and filled a couple times before aj got it because when i had the pan off nice fluid came out with no water. What it did before then is all a mystery. Either way, some serious scrubbing, new parts, and lots of valve body work has a ready trans sitting on the bench!
