Default 4L80E max rpm?

What are you guys with BONE STOCK 80e's shifting at RPM wise?

the reason I ask is I'm looking to shift mine at 6600~ and i recently read about the direct drum applying under higher RPM. At what RPM is this really an issue?
Also from my understanding this is only an issue in first gear ? can anyone verify this also|
Thanks

Hmm, good question.

One thing I can say is that don't give it all the beans in Drive if you make a lot of power, always put it in D3.

Stock unmodified unit will experience clutch drag in high gear prettymuch anytime over 5000rpm
Yes, mainly an issue in 1st gear. Because the anti-rotation of the direct drum. It's spinning backwards at about 85% speed and that's plenty speed to centrifugally apply.
