I'm running a 80e in a 2000 rcsb and I can't figure out what to change in my tune to get it to stay in the gear I hAve selected. I'm trying to hold 1st longer, it auto shifts even with the gear selector in 1st.

 

It will upshift if over something like 23 mph and under 60% throttle. Required direct editing of the code to disable this in my tune. Couldn't do it with HPT or EFILive.

 

ive got the same trouble with my 80e aswell. i ended up putting my Jakes manual control box back on the truck and manually shuft it now.

I've always wanted flex fuel capability on a 2 bar COS for the 01-02 OS.

HPTuners has it, EFI live doesn't

There's a 2002 Tahoe flex fuel tune floating around, would just somehow need a segment swap of the engine parameters to the COS tune.

 

I don't, but there are some people doing it.

 

Nvm just had to update hp tuners and the table was right there.

 

HPT may have added that. EFILive has a field that says: D0913 Manual hold gear, 1st, 1>2 shift speed But changing the value did nothing and EFILive said they did not intend to do any further updates for the LS1 PCMs.
