Picked up an 80E for my LQ4 s10. Truck will have a turbo shortly. Should be around 600-700whp. I have a 373 gear in it currently.

Im installing a transgo HD2 in it. And am going to use a OptiShift controller. What are my converter options here? Not trying to spend $1200 just yet on one. Probably shoot for a 3500ish stall.

 

I have a used one I will let go for 400. It is a Performabuilt race 3200 9.5". It needs to be gone through. I didnt send it in to freshen up in case the next owner wanted to change the stall when it was opened up to be gone through. It is 800 new.

 

So if your not wanting to spend $1200, how about $1100? Whats your budget...

If you're looking to spend less, I'd recommend a Precision Vigilante. You can get a good triple disc for about $750. It will be a LOT looser than a Circle-D though.

I have a nib converter stall speed should be around 3200 . It has a ls1 bolt pattern (3 bolt) ill let it go for 900 plus the ride .
