Default 4l80e??

Alright Im in need of something here-My tranny has been under 5 times now with the valve body/3-4 gear blown out. I have an 04 VHO magnacharged, Long tubes etc. Im tired of this happening and for now its the only means of transportation I have and with my job Im always driving and on the road. If a get a built tranny will this solve the problem?? WHat about a 4L80E would this be better?? I should be around 440-450rwhp on my stock verter. What would you guys suggest??
Thanks,
Kyle

The 4L80-E will be so much more precise-shifting and reliable. Once you're through all the tough work to get it installed I would bet you never want to own a 4L60e or 65e again.

Im having an '80 installed in my truck once all the other crap is done. With the instant Tq and Hp of the Radix in that heavy truck you need an '80. You can pick them up on car-part.com for $800 and you can pick up the rest of the stuff from Speed Eng. Im going to have a local guy do the swap. It should end up being less than 2K I hope, but it will be well worth every penny. You will have some down time though.

I can only repeat what the other two guys have said really but after blowing up over 2 dozen 700R4/4L60Es and finally switching to a 80E you couldnt give me an entire truck load of brand new 700/60s for free (unless I could re-sell them ).

Put an 80E in and be done with it.
