I've been trolling the forums a while and finally joined with intentions to post up another good swap thread. Before I start the thread I'm trying to iron out a few things Im not sure onI've got a 06 1500 silverado 4x4 ext cab shrt box with the l33 alum block 5.3. I have the factory 4L60E and manual floor shift transfer case, I believe NV261LD. The plan is to swap out the 5.3L and 60E for a lq4, triple 12 cam/matched springs, 70mm turbo, and an 80E trans. I picked up a 2wd 80E out of a 03 silverado with 40k original miles on it. I am interested to hear your guys input as to what direction I should go. Leaning towards installing stock 4x4 tailshaft and swapping input shaft of Tcase. Any input concerning this would be greatly appreciated...
