Hey Guys

I have a 2003 sierra z71, and im planning on doing some mods down the road, not to sure what yet. Just from reading alot on this site, id like to do a 4l80 swap. Ive found one near buy, but its from a 90s truck and it comes with the transfer case..the price is good, but im just wondering if the 90s 80 will fit in my 2003?

Mike it will fit and work but there are a couple of things that you need to be concerned with. One is that the unit has the bosses for the park/neutral switch and the other is that it has the bosses for the shifter cable bracket. Some of the first few years did not have these and are useless in your vehicle without them. HTH Vince
