Default 4L65E is in

Well I finished getting my tranny in last night. I went with a 4L65 and a tb converter. I was wondering is the tb supposed to feel as though it is kinda slippin on takeoff? I noticed that the rpms are noticeably high until od where the tc locks up and wondered if that was normal. Also the shifts are way to soft. Will the tc cause the shifts to be soft? I am going to install a vette servo on Monday so maybe that will help.

It should feel different like it is kinda slippin on takeoff... Yes they will soften shifts also. The stall TC absorbs the shift.

The slipping is the loose feeling you hear everyone describe.
