Roger, I think that your truck has eaten enough 60/65E's, I've seen you post many carnage pics over the last few years

thanks for your concern. i have looked into a 4l80e swap, and cannot afford one just yet. my truck is a 2010, and those payments kinda consume my spare cash...

this trans is still covered by the builders warranty, having installed it back in february of this year, so i'm not worried about getting it fixed. i have asked them about making some changes, and they seem interested in making sure i am satisifed.

i dropped the trans with the builder on saturday, and they have already finished with it. I just can't go get it until this saturday (why does my work interfere with my fun?).

picked up the trans friday night. was going to install saturday but i had to plow my driveway, and i'm not the type that enjoys working on my vehicles while its snowing sideways.


going to get started on it tonight, hopefully finish it tomorrow night.

Did they suggest modifying the tune/internals for a softer 1-2 shift?

truck has a completely stock tune, they did change some things so it will shift a bit softer.

that was one of the ideas i had, i didn't ask them if anything else was wrong with it other than the broken output shaft.
