This is a good Monday. The dealer is covering it. I am happy as hell. The also gave me some options on upgrades. I have the option to fully build out the 60e. or rebuild to a 65e with hardened shafts. TO get the 65e, I was tenatively quoted 1200$. The low end of the upgrade was about $250 for newer valve body, addition clutch plate, etc.

My service guy is going to call back with exact options and prices.

What do you all think, go for the 65e, or just beef up the 60e? Is that a decent price to get a 65e in there? How much can you really do to a 60e?

Thanks for all the help.

First of all, congrats.

RE: the 4L65E, 5-pinion planetaries, hardened input shaft, extra/better clutches, read all about what makes up a 65E here.

Do whats cheapest if they will cover it everytime but, I'd opt. for the 65e being in your scenario.

Congrats...

OCBC,
What dealership did you take it to, If I have any major issues with mine It might be worth it to take it down there, Did they make any comments about your Radix?

I pmed you some info. I took it to my local dealer. Tustin GMC

The reason I took it to them ( i bought it from them) is that they install the radix's themselves. I told them I had it and they didnt even bat an eye. He started discussing upgrades with me. I was very happy.

I havent heard from them yet. We will see what I decide.

Tustin Chevrolet. Sweet that is where I bought my truck from. I am not yet supercharged but I would like to be one day I took my truck back about a week after I bought it because the tranny started shifting real hard between 1-2 and they just reflashed the PCM with updated codes and it went away then they called me 4 times over the next 2 months just to make sure my truck was still running good. I think they are top notch when it comes to customer service. So Far.
