there are some for around 1,300 on ebay, i dont know how good they are but after reading what they have installed in them and the feedbacks are are good... sounds like an alright deal......?

I'm sure some trannies leave the factory in slightly better condition than others. However, there's a lot to be said for the manner in which a vehicle is driven. You can drive the **** out of a vehicle at certain times and under certain conditions, while at the same time limiting the likelihood that you will kill it. James B. gave some great pointers here and here on how to prolong the life of a 4L60E/65E.

I am sure towing 7500lbs once a month for awhile didnt help either!!!!!!
I just have a sick feeling in my stomach!!!!
