4l60e servo pin
#1
I'm trying to finish up the rebuild on my 4l60e and when I put in the 2-4 servo to test that I get the 1/16 to 1/8 movement, I only get about .010/.015.
I have a new AC Delco reverse drum and new Raybestos wide 2-4 band.
The band is attached to the case and ancor pin, the drum turns fine.
Do I just grind the servo pin to get the 1/16 to 1/8 movement?
Just seems strange to have to grind the stock servo pin

Well I ground about 1/16" off the servo pin, and finished the rebuild.
Trans is installed in truck and it's shifting good.
I did find that there are 3 different length servo pins from the factory.
Mine was the middle length one, and the shortest one is about 1/16" shorter.
So the only thing that makes sense to me is that the wide band I got required the short pin.
