Default 4l60e separator plate questions

well pull the valve body from my tranny to start the rebuild process, separator plate is trash, but i had a question about a bushing or whatever is it is that is on the plate, im gonna post a few pics below to show what it is

also, on replacement, should i use an OEM plate and drill the holes out for the HD2 kit or order the Transgo plate and be done with it?

well, figured out that it is is a check ball seat, pretty much a band-aid in my opinion for not replacing the plate

That one looks like it was modified for a shift kit already. I think that's for a relief valve or something along those lines.

Get a Trans Go plate. There thicker and not much if any more then a stock plate.

You could also go with the torlan check ***** on a new stock plate as there less likely to damage the plate since there of an elastomer rubber material.

the tranny has the hd2 kit now, besides the worn check ball seats in the plate, the 1-2 accumulator spring broke and dug into the plate pretty bad in that area
