Default 4L60E Question

My truck has 156K miles on it. Pretty much city and highway driven combined. Normal driving with the occasional lead foot. Recently swapped LQ9 tuned with full exhaust and 9.5'' 14 Bolt with 4.10 gears. Should I be concerned about beefing up the 4L60E or just drive it until it breaks?

Your truck is light enough that it's not going to be a big issue for the 60. I'd say put some upgrades in it after it goes boom.

Id say if you want to do anything to the trans right now, vette servo and upgrade to the sonnax pinless 1-2 accumulator piston, maybe turn the epc up 1/8 turn or so, and let it eat til it breaks then upgrade it when you rebuild it!!!!

I plan on going till mine blows up. 193K and counting.

I wouldn't waste money on mods now that you are just to have to buy later anyways especially knowing the tranny WILL blow up sooner or later.

Drive it as is. When it blows up put a new GM tranny back in with a few mods and a awesome warranty and keep truckin.
