Angry 4L60E problems?

Hey guys, yesterday late afternoon my grandmother took my truck to town (only transportation) to get a couple of things. Later she called me and said it felt like it downshifted by itself. Well her being not very "auto" smart I'm thinking well you must have did something etc. Well she calls me back and says it won't go in reverse. I got a ride out there and put it in nuetral and still couldn't get it to move back at all. I've tried just about everything to get it to move backward. (It moves forward and drives forward). I'm guessing its got something to do with the sunsheild or in that line. Anyone I have any input....and I'm sure I'll be looking for just a stock 4L60E or spending $1,200 getting this one fixed. And with this being the only transportation I would rather find a 4L60E and just put it in myself than waiting until late next week.

131,xxx on it. I got it from ORR Chevrolet here in town with no warranty. But the previous owner looked like he was a little rough with it. I found out the back window was shot out when I had to change the fuel pump at 127,xxx.

No reverse? Sounds like a possible pump issue.

I pulled in and make a sharp circle and it just sounded like the converter was slapping around? I have no idea whats going on with this thing anyone have any idea?

I've seen input planetary gear sets go out and the truck will not move forward or reverse when its hot, when it cools down some it will move for a short time, Not sure what your problem is but you have a problem and the trans has to come out. What does the fluid look like?

that's 2 letters and 3 numbers.

I've also seen threads where the locker in the rearend was bad and it wouldn't allow the truck to move backwards but would go forwards just fine.
