Default 4L60E HD2 Install in progress - Couple questions for you guys

Hey guys, ran into a couple issues on my HD2 install and wanted to see what you have been doing.

Background:
Truck is a 2005 Sierra 1500 Z71 with about 90K on it. 5.3/4L60E
Leveled on 33x12.5 Toyo MTs for about the last 15K.
Stock 3.42s swapped out for 4.10s with a TrueTrac about 5K ago.

Normal use is daily driver and occasional towing of 8K lb toy hauler (ya ya, I know, truck abuse)

Current mods are LPP lt's with a BBP tune coming in the next month or so.
Future mods will probably be NNBS intake and WCCH stage 1 heads (already have both) and eventually a cam (leaning toward EPS Truck Torque 1 type numbers). Oh, and a 40K cooler, of course.

Obviously not looking to build a race truck here.

Anyway trans was stock until today. Here is what I bought

Transgo HD2
Transgo Hardened Separator Plate
Sonnax FWD Accumulator Piston
Sonnax 1-2/3-4 Accumulator Piston (2ea.)
Torlon Check *****
Vette Servo
Sonnax OD Servo

On teardown there was a small amount of metal fines on the magnet in the pan but very little debris or friction material in the fluid (However I had the factory 60K service done at around 70K so they probably drained the pan then).

Not installing the clutch spring kit at this time since trans is still in truck.

Both new servos are installed with both of the gold shims from the Transgo kit (Servo travel still looks fine).

Most of the valvebody mods are done, including Sonnax FWD Accumulator.

Here are the specific questions I had.

1. When i went to reinstall the EPC solenoid after installing the additional spring for the Feed Limit Actuator Valve the solenoid was not butted up against the plug for the actuator. I wasn't paying attention when I took the retainer clip for that one off. The drawing shows it being installed in the fourth cavity from the edge of the valvebody. I'd just like to confirm that this is correct.

2. 1-2 and 3-4 Accumulators. I had read previously about some incompatibility between the Transgo kit and some of the Sonnax parts and I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. Obviously the Sonnax pistons are not compatible with the Transgo method of flipping the piston and having a spring on both sides of the piston. So the question is, which is the better option, use the Sonnax pistons with the stock springs or use the Transgo springs with the flipped stock pistons?

3. Separator plate and check *****. Recently I've seen a few comments about the Transgo hardened plate being a bad idea, something about cross leaks. Is this a new issue? My stock plate shows signs of pretty heavy seat damage from the ***** on 6 of the seats. Two are hammered into an irregular shape that I'm pretty sure are leaking by. On one of them you can actually see a bulge on the opposite side of the plate. If sealing is the issue with the Transgo would roughing the surface up with a DA sander help? Also, I have seen a few comments recommending against the torlon check *****. So what's the best option?

A. Stock plate / stock *****
B. Stock plate / torlon *****
C. Transgo plate / stock *****
D. Transgo plate / torlon *****

Sorry for the long *** post, just wanted to give enough info to get a decent answer. Thanks in advance, you guys rock!
