Default 4l60e conversion to th350 or th400

i have seen several lsx f-bodys that use a th350 or th400 tranny instead of a 4l60e or 4l80e.

i am getting a 69 chevy truck with a th350 and would like to install a 6.0l motor.

my question is, is an adapter plate plate needed to mate the th350 to the 6.0l or will it mate up just as is? any help is appreciated.

thanx, rob (low2001gmnc@aol.com)

Do a search on th400 and you can find more info. If you dont have really low rear gears the 400 or 350 aren't bad, and much cheaper to build.
