Default 4L60E+Circle D TCC lockup question

Been driving around for a while with my new 3200 converter and notice a surging between 1500-2000 in 3rd when I'm going around 40mph. I realize it's going in and out of lockup, so what do you guys do to alleviate this? Raise lockup to like 50mph or something like that?

Raising the tables will help your issue here. Some guys will tune their vehicles to not lock in 3rd and only to lock in 4th gear. Vince

Thanks Vince, that's a good suggestion and probably a better idea than just raising the lockup speed. Is there any lockup present in first or second or is it only in 3rd and fourth?

I believe factory programming tcc is only used in 3rd and 4th gears. Actually the trans is capable of TCC function in all ranges including park, neutral and reverse! I would only recommend using it in 3rd and 4th gear only. Vince

Need to change your min/max apply tables in your computer. I put mine at 80/90 respectively. Went through the same thing. Raising lock-up speed did nothing for me. One other table I played with too, but I can't remember which one. Min/Max had the most affect.

No surging at all in 4th with the apply pressure raised?

This will most likely fix your issue. I use values of 90 / 100 myself in these tables along with what Vince stated. I only lock in OD.
