i have a 4l60e im working on that wont shift into second in a 94 chevy pickup. diagnostic code 82 for 1-2 shift solenoid. i replaced the solenoid and still having the same issue. i need wiring diagrams i guess to check both harness to that solenoid. anyone have any ideas? i saw something earlier on trouble codes and it said for the 1-2 shift solenoid replace 2-3 solenoid. does anyone know what that would do and do they work together in anyway?

 

The 2-3 solenoid is for 1st and second gear and is off in 3rd and 4th. I doubt this is your issue on a 1-2 shift if in fact your vehicle is starting out in 1st gear. I would be looking at the obvious with your wiring and also that the command is there to turn off the 1-2 solenoid to complete the electrical side of things for second gear. HTH Vince
