Default 4l60 Corvette Servo Issue

I just put a Corvette Servo in my sons truck and now we have a weird issue. The shifts and everything are great if you have the selector in Drive. Pulled it back into 3 and the transmission wants to slip and act all weird. Truck is 2001 with 4.8 completely stock with 210K miles. We put the servo in since we had the exhaust off installing headers and x pipe system. Transmission never had any issues or done anything weird before in 3 on the selector before the corvette servo install. From researching i see that pin length can sometimes be an issue but i haven't read of anyone having the issue we are having. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks!
