I thought that might have been it but I couldn't locate a double wide spline on the trans output shaft. Course I was pretty pissed at that point seein mostly red. I'll give it a go again tomorrow.

Well no luck. Drive shaft man lost my original yoke when I went to 4l80. I put a micrometer on it and the outside diameter of the gto yoke is 1.512 and the yoke on the truck driveshaft is 1.558. Not sure what type of yoke I have but it doesn't seem like it's going to work

Clutch is bled, trans is in and mounted, interior is all reinstalled. Only thing left is driveshaft. Yoke issues still. But on the plus side i didnt have to buy a new crossmember. Soooooo. Should be drivin this week.

man this thing is sweet. i wouldnt say its 100% but its 95. im installing a tri 5 chevy hurst shifter this afternoon in hopes of being able to use my middle seat. i have been driving with a teeny midget shifter so far.

man when you get on the gas this truck frigen squats hard! had a teeny bit of wheel hop. i think ill be ordering a set of caltracs for it next. probably do that when i do the cam.

damn i love this truck!

Tri five shifter is perfect. Buying some Dynamat and re installing my middle seat this weekend.
