they go where the leaf springs rest on the axle.
pretty much hold all the leaf packs together.
it's longer than the stock ones b/c of the shims.

If I plan on getting rid of all my rearend vibrations, I guess I need to go pick a pair up... I hate tearing into anything in the back of my truck these days....
