Default 4 link, clatracs, or ?????

I'm in the process of building my 04 RCSB. I want the truck to be good at everything. Nice to Daily drive, corners, good, and hooks up good.

Other than the price of coilovers, I can build a 4 link set up for about the same price as buying caltracs.

I've built a lot of cars, but This is my first go around with a performance truck.

I'm wondering your opinions. Especially from the guys that have real experience with both set ups.

I run a 4 link, but my truck only goes straight. Sorry, not much help.

With enough research and design, I'm pretty sure you can get any of the set ups to work. Some will just me more expensive and finiky than others.

Are you trying to do all this **** with 500 hp or 1000 hp?

8s! Nice. Looks like your truck goes straight pretty well.

It would be your basic parallel 4 link with a pan hard bar. Heim joints on every end and adjustable brackets to move the bars around.

I'm not sure what you mean by "all this ****". It will be about 700whp.

if your wanting to stay with a small tire stay with leafs. But if your wanting much bigger than a 29.5/10.5 tire go with 4 link..

I guess I can relate with tyler on the more street setup.... where I live the closest track is about 2 hours away... we only go once a year or so.... Im at the point in my build where I am about to start the rear suspension... which I know a lot of folks have made caltrac style setups work awesome on the street... I just lack that knowledge... leafs have been proven over and over the idea of a bigger tire has my attention I suppose

the bigger tire makes it easier/more forgiving to find that magic 60' on the street though.
