Hmm, I plan on converting mine to the air ride air bar setup. it comes with a panard but i will probably go with a watts link to keep it centered at any height. where do you get the rods and what ends are the good ends to use? I have same issue as you wheel hop and spring load unload issues

I got my rod ends from Summit. They were the really expensive ($50each) QA1 forged chrome molly rod ends.

Watts link is nice but a good long (f-body length) panhard rod works perfectly fine for anything but a dedicated race car (and even then it's negligible). Keep in mind that just about every LS1 F-body in the racing circles still runs a panhard rod in the factory location.

Well I just want the rearend centered in the truck raised lowered etc, on all the trans ams I have owned with a panard bar if i lowered etc the rearend would shift. I am waiting for the person with the air bar to respond but i think i will make some mounting points similar to what you got. traction has been my limiting factor so far no problem making the power just getting it to the ground has been an issue

Watts link will actually go off center if you raise/lower it too far beyond its centered/ride height. I initially wanted to do a watts link on my truck but after really looking at everything, it wasn't worth it. While the panhard goes off center, with an F-body panhard rod setting the arc it was only like 1/8" for every 2" or 3" travel.

I am doing a watts link on my camaro (which is why I had the panhard rod laying around), but it is also getting a full tube frame and a C5 frontend.

The two points that made me not go with the watts link were:
1- Cost
I had a free, full rod end, LG panhard standing in the corner of my garage (free is good )
2- Complexity
The Watts link requires quite a bit more brackets and pieces which takes up space.

I like Watts links a lot, just didn't see doing one on THIS project.

The 4 link changed the truck night and day! I still can't get killer traction in 1st gear (if I just stomp on it, the truck just sits and roasts the tires), but I have 4.56 gears and Kumho 32" truck tires that don't really grip so it's not really a fair chance. The big point is I'm solid and predictable. I'm not bouncing so it is simply a matter of "needing" better tires. I'm sure with some drag radials or slicks traction wouldn't be an issue.
If you do the 4 link, you will every day say "why didn't I do this sooner?!"... I do!

Yeah I looked at and almost went with that kind of setup, though when it's all said and done I probably have about that in my whole setup. :p

Just keep an eye on the 4 link jamb nuts if your going to DD your truck, wouldn't want your rear end to fall out

Nice man, looks great.
Do you have any close up pics of both the frame mount and the rear mounts from different angles?
That would be much appreciated.
Thanks
