so my cousin found an 03 4.8 with 50k for $500 bucks. CLEANest bitchin pullout youve seen. so here's the plan so far, yall critique.. because, Im no expert otherwise I'd do this **** for a living

BONE STOCK 2003 4.8 from a p/u.. CLEAN *** motor. perfect oil analysis, leakdown and crank compression. added rod bolts from ARP, only mod.

comp ground a really tiny 220-215 I liked, around .50's, 918 springs I trust, some pushrods, and harland sharps sit on stock 66cc (as measured) 241's just freshed up by none other than my machinest. great guy. I think this makes a 8.9 or 9.0 compression. I know theres some **** here I dont need. but i cant watch it stay younger than me on the shelf.

stock ls6 intake + tb, turbonetics tc78 .96 on the front with big fmic, hks gtII, tial bov, eboost2, phamspeed kit, thick *** SS.

3 bar OS, all tuning by yours truely, and 3650 with me in it.. PT3600 fresh from dave, and a performabuilt #3 with a huge tranny cooler + big fan..

home made meth system sharing my windshield washer, using a **** pump.

uhhhhhh I think that sums it up.. oh and I'm shooting for 450 hp and not **** off the wife with spending to much more.

oh and its got some heat sink truck coils... if it matters

I'd go with around a 70mm and .81 a/r exhaust side on that motor....
