I have 4.56s with 35s and its awesome. I turn about 2300rpm at 75mph. I will say, since ive added the blower, I have too much gear IMO and would be better suited with 4.10s.

what RPM are you trapping at with 4.56 and nitrous? what size tire are you using when spraying?

im glad i didnt go with 4:10's, i would have been dissapointed. the 4:56 was perfect for my current and future set-up.

I love my 4.56's! I have 29.7 inch tires and with my speedo calibrated with a GPS, my data logger shows i'm runnin 2600 rpm at 70 mph. The gearing seems perfect for a cammed 5.3. I would imagine they would not be at all too much for a cammed 4.8!

I was running 4600 through the traps in the 1/4 mile with 3.73's and 28" slicks, I just did a 4.56 swap. I still won't be at the top of my RPM band in 3rd at the end of 1320, but it will be a lot better then it was. I tach 2500 @ 70 on the interstate. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't change anything...

Here is a good calculator for figureing MPH at given RPM.
