Default 3" Drop springs with 2" drop Shackles??

2wd 99 silverado RCSB

I already have 2" drop shackles in the rear. Can i use some 3" drop leaf springs with the shackles? I really don't want to install hangers in the back...plus i can get the leafs for almost nothing from a buddy.

And what about 2" drop springs and 2" drop spindles in the front?

i ran 3" drop leafs, and my 2" shackles with no problems, you can definitely do it, but anything ower than 4" in the rear, id definitely notch. as far as the front guys, u can run 2" spindles, and 2" drop coils for 4" with no problems, or even 1" or 3" coils, just depends on how low you want it.
